Take the Canalway Challenge!
Discover all you can do along New York’s canals! The Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor is launching the Canalway Challenge to help you achieve your personal fitness goals while walking, running, cycling, or paddling on the Empire/Canalway Trail and NYS Canal System. The free program includes a range of mileage options—15 miles, 90 miles, 180 miles, and 360 miles—so that you can choose a mileage goal that suits your ability.
The Eerie Canal Run is an approved Canalway Challenge event! This means that your race miles will count toward your mileage goal. You can also rack up miles by training on the 365-mile Empire Trail and 524-mile NYS Canal System.
Details and signup are available at https://eriecanalway.org/
